Awesome School Adventures-Workshops Featuring PBS Programming.
KETC presents interactive workshops at schools and after-school
programs. Channel 9 trains educators and students how to extend
the learning potential of television with a proven methodology focused
on viewing quality PBS programming, doing hands-on activities, and
reading books . Most any PBS programming can be used for these workshops
and Channel 9 staff will work with you to customize the workshop
to your needs.
Workshops may be scheduled during regular school hours, for after-school
programs and may be delivered for teacher professional development
or for student enrichment to a group or classroom. Two consecutive
workshops on one day can be scheduled.
Channel 9's costs:
$250 for one workshop
