Teacher Training

Awesome School Adventures-Workshops Featuring PBS Programming
.
KETC presents interactive workshops at schools and after-school programs. Channel 9 trains educators and students how to extend the learning potential of television with a proven methodology focused on viewing quality PBS programming, doing hands-on activities, and reading books . Most any PBS programming can be used for these workshops and Channel 9 staff will work with you to customize the workshop to your needs.

Workshops may be scheduled during regular school hours, for after-school programs and may be delivered for teacher professional development or for student enrichment to a group or classroom. Two consecutive workshops on one day can be scheduled.

Channel 9's costs:
$250 for one workshop
$400 for two consecutive workshops
