Beginning in January 2009, the Missouri-Illinois Telelearning Consortium will no longer present telecourses on Channel 9.

For nearly 30 years, Channel 9 has offered adults the chance to go to college via on-air telecourses—college-level instruction broadcast for students in the early morning hours. More than 225,000 students have taken advantage of this alternative to traditional classrooms.

But now other forms of technology have caught up with telecourses creating more flexibility than ever to non-traditional learning methods. Please visit the links below to discover what opportunities are available from some area colleges and universities.

On Channel 9, the learning will continue with KETC’s regular lineup of entertaining and educational programs.
