Training Parents, Educators and Caregivers

KETC presents substantive training workshops that help parents, caregivers, educators and children extend the educational value of Channel 9's children's programming. The workshops focus on viewing quality PBS programming, doing hands-on activities, and reading books. The goal of these workshops is to ensure that all children start school with the basic skills necessary to make their educational experience a success. KETC develops and delivers over 150 workshops annually to parents, educators and caregivers to train them how to use PBS Kids programming effectively and incorporate literacy into daily activities with their young learners.
