Community Education
Channel 9's Community Education efforts extend the impact of public
television through educational materials and collaborative activities
with community organizations. This work is designed to engage individuals
and foster community participation to raise awareness and effect
change around specific issues through programming aired on Channel
9.
Now, more than ever, a sense of community is important to everyone.
That is why we do so much more than simply address community issues.
KETC is also committed to providing the St. Louis region with related
initiatives to foster learning, inspire community dialogues, encourage
families and help people become more connected with the world around
them. Together, all of these activities help brighten the community
life of our diverse and vibrant region.
