Your
Company and KETC Can Team Up to Help Fight Illiteracy!
KETC brings children and families the unique initiative, Ready
To Learn, designed to foster early literacy and school readiness
in young children. Books are a critical component in the learning
process and KETC targets children who are not likely to have their
own books. Distributing new, free books is an important part of
the battle to fight illiteracy. Your employees can help KETC make
a difference in the St. Louis area by holding a book drive.

| Here's what one company has to say about
their experience with a KETC book drive: |
| "After participating
in last year's KETC Channel 9-sponsored book drive, we were
inspired to host another. We believe all children should have
their very own books to read.
Our employees thought the idea was important;
and during our first drive we collected 379. The generosity
of our employees combined with their enthusiasm and support
helped us to obtain approximately 785 books during this last
book drive! We are overjoyed and very pleased. |

"The book drive was easy and fun. KETC
was very cooperative and extremely helpful. Knowing that we
helped to provide children with their very own books and took
part in the preparation of school readiness is a very good feeling.
We're still glowing!"
