Membership Operations Assistant
JOB SUMMARY KETC/Channel 9 seeks an ambitious self-starter to fill the position of Membership Operations Assistant in its Membership Department. Successful candidate will require a balance of superior computer and database skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as the natural ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Allocation of responsibilities will be approximately 50% database support, 25% pledge drive support and 25% administrative support. Temporary Employment
KETC/Channel 9 is seeking temporary staff to assist in various aspects relating to our fund-raising efforts. Must be detail oriented, assist in mass mailings and possess excellent phone/customer service skills. Internships

KETC utilizes a limited number of interns who are currently enrolled in an internship program through a college or university.

Production
Program Production Department interns provide production assistance to ongoing projects and participate in a broad range of production activities, including research, field and studio shoots, scripting and editing. Communications
A communications intern for KETC will be asked to perform many of the following duties and projects during a semester at the station: press release writing, media relations, press clippings analysis, general advertising/marketing related research for campaigns, updating the community calendar on our Web site, writing copy for our program guide and encoding video segments for the Web. On-Air Promotions
A promotions intern will provide assistance to ongoing promotion projects including: editing, script writing for :30 second promos, research and assistance in pledge producing and assisting with live television production during membership drives. Education and Outreach
The education and outreach intern provides assistance to ongoing projects and participates in child centered workshops in St. Louis area schools, libraries and agencies. Tasks and project duties would include organizing mailings, creating and delivering presentations, assisting at special events and doing office work.
