Graphic Designer

Job Description:
St. Louis’ public television station is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Graphic Designer to work on a variety of projects, from printed material (such as marketing collateral, programming guide, event graphics, presentation materials, signage, packaging and much more) to online and on air graphics. The successful candidate will remain motivated on projects ranging from highly creative concepts to production work.
Qualifications:
The Graphic Designer will possess a strong sense of design and creativity while adhering to strict brand guidelines. He or she must be detail-oriented with great organizational skills and have the ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects from concept to print and come up with creative solutions in a limited timeframe. Applicant must excel in a fast paced environment and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues and outside vendors.
Experience:
College degree in graphic design or equivalent in training and experience is required. Two years design experience in a professional environment is requested. Candidate must be proficient in Adobe CS5 and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge and experience in photography, web design and video editing are considered a plus. A quality portfolio is required for consideration.

Vice President of Development
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, aggressive fund raiser with the ability to motivate and work closely with high net worth individuals, corporate executives and others in the philanthropic community. She or he will be an intelligent, articulate self starter, and have at least ten years of progressively increasing responsibilities in fundraising management experience, five of which includes senior management experience in a significant public or private institution. Experience in one or more following areas is preferred: Senior - level fund raising management experience in public broadcasting, a large and complex cultural or education institution such as a museum or cultural institution, college or university, aquarium, zoo, or similar organization. Internships
KETC utilizes a limited number of interns who are currently
enrolled in an internship program through a college or university.
Production
Program Production Department interns provide production assistance
to ongoing projects and participate in a broad range of production
activities, including research, field and studio shoots, scripting

Communications
A communications intern for KETC will be asked to perform
many of the following duties and projects during a semester
at the station: press release writing, media relations, press
clippings analysis, general advertising/marketing related
research for campaigns, updating the community calendar on
our Web site, writing copy for our program guide and encoding
video segments for the Web. For more information, send a resume

Web/Online Communications
Web/Online communications interns assist in all aspects of KETC's Web and online communications, with an emphasis on social media. Candidate should be studying interactive media, communications or other related fields. Excellent writing skills, some knowledge and experience using HTML and photo editing software, and experience with implementing and using online social networking tools are preferred. On-Air Promotions
A promotions intern will provide assistance to ongoing
promotion projects including: editing, script writing for
:30 second promos, research and assistance in pledge producing
and assisting with live television production during membership

Education and Outreach
The education and outreach intern provides assistance to ongoing

duties would include organizing mailings, creating and delivering
presentations, assisting at special events and doing office
