H.I.S. K.I.D.S., Inc Dinner Auction  
What: H.I.S. K.I.D.S., Inc. (Happiness Is Serving Kids In Distress Situations), a non-profit organization serving families affected by childhood cancer, is hosting their 15th Annual Dinner Auction. H.I.S. K.I.D.S. has been serving families of children with cancer in the St. Louis Metropolitan area for over 25 years since 1984, providing family support and preservation, youth and teen programs, bereavement support, and emergency assistance. Financial support from the local community makes these programs possible. H.I.S. K.I.D.S. 15th Annual Dinner Auction will take place on Saturday, February 27th at the Gateway Center in Collinsville, IL.

Lenten Evenings of Prayer & Service
What: The Little Sisters of the Poor – St. Louis Home will be hosting our annual Lenten weekly evenings of service and prayer. On each Thursday evening during Lent, we invite you to join us in serving our elderly Residents their evening meal at 6 p.m. At 7:30, we begin a Holy Hour consisting of adoration, listening to the Word of God, night prayer and benediction. The dates chosen are February 18 & 25 and March 4, 11, 18 & 25. The evenings are open to young men and women aged 18-35. The Idiotarod  
What: The Idiotarod pays homage to the Alaskan tradition of the Iditarod in which dogs pull a sled and musher across the Iditarod Trail. Our event is similar, except replace the dogs with people and the sled with a shopping cart, put it in downtown St. Louis, and add a heavy dose of weirdness. Teams of five people will venture throughout downtown hitting checkpoints and completing challenges to continue and win prizes. Teams will have a theme that is reflective of their cart and costumes. The date is set for March 5th & 6th, in admiration of the Alaskan Iditarod, and the race will go on regardless of rain, sleet, snow, ice, wind, or hail. One of the challenges includes collecting food for a local charity-Operation Food Search. March 5th is the corporate Idiotarod and March 6th is the open Idiotarod. Lumiere Place will be hosting the award ceremony and after-party.

Cathedral Concerts Annual Gala  
What: This event supports Cathedral Concerts' mission to present affordable live concerts in the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis featuring world-class musicians and the finest repertoire of sacred and classical music for the cultural enrichment, education, and enjoyment of the entire region. Operation Heartfelt
What: A selection of hors d’oeuvres, appetizers and desserts from Catering St. Louis, confections courtesy of Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier and Park Avenue Coffee, Anheuser-Busch beers and wine from Saint Louis Cellars will be available from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Additionally, patrons will have the opportunity to bid on unique dining experiences, including a night of Indian cuisine at the home of OFS executive director Sunny Schaefer prepared by a former resident of London who learned from “Madhur Jaffrey’s Indian Cooking” cookbook.

Single Mingle
What: The Kemp Auto Museum is reinventing Valentines Day for St. Louis singles by hosting their third annual Single Mingle event on Thursday February 11th from 7:00p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The event will feature fun and interesting ways to meet and greet other St. Louis singles, including a dance contest, rounds of speed dating, and a photo booth. MONOPOLY Trading Game Tournament
What: MONOPOLY Trading Game Tournament officially sanctioned by Hasbro. Games will be played for 90 minutes using the official long game rules. Players will play at least 2 rounds of MONOPOLY. Assets from the 2 games will be added together and the top 6 players will compete in a final round. Prizes are awarded to the finalists and $250 Grand Prize is awarded to the tournament winner.
